Letters to the Park Authority
Please let our county officials know how much we appreciate and need the Equestrian Center at Laurel Hill. As a follow up to the Charity Ride the other weekend, if you have not sent a note earlier, below are two sample letters that you might email as follows. It is important that we keep reminding them that we need equestrian resources.

Dear Kirk,
As a member of the equestrian community, I want to thank you for the new trail system at the Laurel Hill Equestrian Center. On November 9th, I and fifty other riders participated in a ride that was organized by NVCEO for Fairfax4Horses to benefit the Laurel Hill Equestrian Center. I was quite impressed with the trails and the area as a whole and look forward to riding at Laurel Hill again in the future. I am particularity looking forward to the construction of the outdoor ring (and the indoor ring and barn in the future) so that we can all enjoy more activities at Laurel Hill. I understand that the Fairfax Park Authority has committed some funds for demolition work and an outdoor ring, and I really appreciate your support of this project.
